To all whom' it may concern' Be it known that I, MARTIN MCDERIVIOTT, a citizen of the United States of America, residing and having a place of business at 1519 West Garfield boulevard, Chicago, Illinois, and doing business at said address under the name and style of I{ARPO KLEANER CODIPANY, (unincorporated,) have adopted and used the trade-mark shown in the ac- companying drawing, for a cleansing com- pound suitable for cleaning and restoring color to oriental rugs, carpets, clothing, &c., and for other purposes, in Class 4, Abrasive, detergent, and polishing materials. The trademark has been continuously used in my business since on or about January 15, 1921. The trademark is applied or aiiixed to the goods by placing on the bottles or recepta- cles, or cartons containing the same, a-label, ticket or tag on which the trademark ap- pears. MARTIN MGDERMOTT. MARTIN MCDERMOTT, being duly sworn, says that he is the applicant named in the foregoing statement; that he believes the foregoing statement is true; that he believes himself to be the owner of the trademark sought to be registered; that no other per- son, firm, association or corporation, to the best of his knowledge and belief, has the right to use said trademark in the United States, either in the identical form or in any such near resemblance thereto as might be calculated to deceive; that said trademark is used by him in commerce among the sev- eral States of the United States; that the description and drawing truly represent the trademark sought to be registered; and that the specimens (or facsimiles) show the trademark as actually used upon the goods.
