To all whom it may concern: Be it known that ‘CALIFORNIA COTTON MILLS COMPANY, a corporation duly organized un- der the laws of the State of California, and located in the city of Oakland, county of Alameda., in the State of California, and doing business at Kennedy and Railroad avenues, in the city of Oakland, in the State of California, has adopted and used the trade-mark shown in the accompanying drawing. The particular description of goods to which the said trade mark is appropriated is a monthly publication, in Class 38, Prints and publications. The said trade mark has been used con- tinuously in the business of the applicant since June 30, 1917. y , The trade-mark; is applied or aiiixed to the goods by printing the tra-de-mark thereon. HAMILTON, being duly sworn deposes and says that he; is the secretary of the corporation, the applicant named in the foregoing statement; that he Verily believes that the foregoing statement is true; that he believes the said corporation is the owner of the trade-mark sought to be registered, that no other person, firm, corporation or asso- ciation to the best of his knowledge and be- lief has the right to use =said trade-mark in the United States, either in the identical form or in such near resemblance thereto as might be calculated to deceive; that such trade-mark is used by said corporation in commerce among the several States of the United States and that the description and drawing presented truly represent the trade- mark sought to be registered and the speci- mens show the trade-mark as actually used upon the goods.
