STATEMENT. , To all 'whom it may concern: 1 Be it known that D/IIDLAND PLAYING CARD Co., a corporation duly organized under the laws of the State of Illinois, and located in the city of La Fayette, county of Tippe- canoe, in the State of Indiana, and doing business at 16th and Union streets, in the city of La Fayette, in the State of Indiana, has adopted and used the trade-mark shown in the accompanying drawing.» The particular description of goods to which the said trade mark is appropriated 6 is playing-cards, in Class 22, Games, toys, and sporting goods. The said trademark has been usedvcon- tinuously in the business of the applicant since April 27 , 1921. SHEFFER, being duly sworn de- poses and says that he is the president of the corporation, the applicant named in the foregoing statement; that he verily believes that the foregoing statement is true; that he believes the said corporation is the owner of the trademark sought to be registered, that no other person, firm, corporation or associa- tion to the best of his knowledge and belief has the right to use said trade-mark in the United States, either in the identical form or in such near resemblance thereto as might be calculated’ to deceive; that such trade- mark is used by said corporation in com- merce among the several States of the United States and that the description and drawing presented truly represent the trade- mark sought to be registered and the speci- mens (or facsimiles) show the trade-mark as actually used upon the goods.
