To all 'whom it may concern: Be it known that THE STEARNS & FOSTER COMPANY, a corporation dul organized under the laws of the State of Uhio, and lo- cated and doing business in the village of Lockland, in the county of Hamilton and State of Ohio, has adopted and used the trade-mark' shown in the accompanying drawing, for cotton-batting, particularly glazed-cotton wadding, in Class No. 1, Raw or partly-prepared materials. The trade-mark has been continuously used in the business of said corporation since November lst, 1899. The.trade-mark is applied by imprinting the same on the wrappers of the article and by stenciling the same on the bales and packages containing the goods. DWVIGHT, being duly sworn, de- poses and says that he is the secretary of the corporation, the applicant named in the foregoing statement; that he believes the foregoing statementis true; that he believes said corporation is the owner of the trade- mark sought to be registered; that no other person, firm, corporation, or association, to the best of his knowledge and belief, has the right to use said trade-mark in the United States of America, on merchandise of the same descriptive properties as those recited in the foregoing statement; that said trade- mark is used by said corporation in com- merce among the several States of the United States; that the description and drawing presented truly represent the trade- mark sought to be registered; that the speci- mens show the trade-mark as actually used upon the goods; and that the trade-mark has been in bona fide use for not less than one year in interstate commerce by said cor- poration.
