To all whom it may concern: Be it known that I, J CHN IVINGFIELD MITCHELL, a citizen of the United States, re- siding at Paso Robles, in the county of San Luis Obispo and State of California, and do- ing business in said city, have adopted and used the trade-mark shown in the accom- panying drawing, (the portrait shown in the accompanying drawing is that of the ap- plicant,) for a liniment for the relief of pain, in Class No. 6, Chemicals, medicines, and pharmaceutical preparations. The trade-mark has been continuously used in my business since Oct. 22nd, 1920. O The trade-mark is applied or aiiixed to the goods, or to the packages containing the same, by placing thereon a printed label on which the trade-mark is shown. JOHN WINGFIELD MITCHELL. ' State of California, county of San Luis Obispo, ss: JOHN WINGFIELD MITCHELL, being duly sworn, deposes and says he is the applicant named in the foregoing statement; that he believes the foregoing statement is true; that he believes himself to be the owner of the trade-mark sought to be registered; that no other person, firm, corporation or associa- tion, to the best of his knowledge and belief, has the right to use said trade-mark in the United States, either in the identical form, or in any such near resemblance thereto as might be calculated to deceive; that the said trade-mark is used by the applicant in com- merce among the several States of the United States; that the drawing presented truly represents the trade-mark sought to be registered; that the specimens (or fac sim- iles) show the trade-mark as actually used upon the goods, and that his full first name is as signed hereto.
