To all whom it may concewtf Be it known that HARRIET HUBBARD AYER, a corporation duly organized under the laws of the State of New York, and located in the city of New York, county of New York, in said State, and doing business at #323 E. 34th Street, in said city, county, and State, has adopted and used the trade-mark shown in the accompanying drawing, for face astringent and skin tightener, in Class No. 6, Chemicals, medicines, and pharma- ceutical preparations. The drawing is lined to indicate shading only. The trade-mark has been continuously used in the business of said corporation since July, 1914. , The trade-mark is applied or aiiixed to the goods, or to the packages or receptacles con- taining the same, by placing thereon a print- ed label upon which the trade-mark is shown. EDWVIN SEFTON, being duly sworn, deposes and says that he is the vice-president of the corporation, the applicant named in the foregoing statement; that he believes the foregoing statement to be true; that he be- lieves said corporation to be the owner of the trade-mark sought to be registered; that no other person, iirm, corporation or associa- tion, to the best of his knowledge and belief, has the right to use said trade-mark in the United States either in the identical form or in any such near resemblance thereto as might be calculated to deceive; that said trade-mark is used by said corporation in commerce between the several States of the United States; that the description and drawing presented truly represent the trade- mark sought to be registered, and that the facsimiles show the trade-mark as actually used upon the goods.
