Application nled February 16, 1921. Serial No. 143,660. A STATEMENT. To all whom it may cofncern: Be it known that ROANOKE CANDY COM- PANY, INC., a corporation duly organized under the laws of the State of Virginia, and located in the city of Roanoke, county of Roanoke, and State of Virginia, and doing business at 216-218-220 Salem Avenue VV., Roanoke, Virginia, has adopted and used the trade-mark shown in the accompanying drawing, for hard candy, in Class AG, Foods and ingredients of foods. _ The trade-mark has been used by said corporation since J an. 21, 1921. No claim is made herein to the exclusive use of the_ words “Taste Tells” appearing in the drawing, apart from the trade-mark shown. The trade-mark is applied or affixed to the goods or to _the packages containing the same by placing on the packages a printed label on which the trade-mark is shown. ANDREWS, being duly sworn, deposes and says that he is secretary of the corporation, the applicant named in the fore- going statement; that he believes the fore- going statement is true; that he believes said corporation to be the owner of the trade- mark sought to be registered; that no other person, irm, corporation, or association, to the best of his knowledge and belief, has the right to use said trade-mark in the United States of America, either in; the identical form or in any such near resemblance there- to as might be calculated to deceive; that said trade-mark is used by said corporation in commerce among the several States of the United States of America; that the draw- ing and statement presented truly represents the trademark sought to be registered, and that the specimens show the trade-mark as actually used upon the goods. ‘VVILLIAM L.
