Act of February 20, 1905 Application February 16, 1934, Serial No. 347,436 AA A Brand Felt American Felt Company STATEMENT To the Commissioner of Patents : American Felt Company, a corporation duly organized under the laws of the State of Massa- chusetts, and located at 315 FoLu'th Avenue, New York, N. Y., and doing business at 315 Fourth Avenue, New York, N. Y., Franklin, Massachu- setts, Glenville, Connecticut, and Newburgh, N. Y., has adopted and used the trade-mark shown in the accompanying drawing, for FELT IN THE PIECE, in Class 50, Merchandise not otherwise classified, and presents iive specimens showing the trade-mark as actually used by ap- plicant upon the goods, and requests that the same be registered in the United States Patent Office in accordance with the act of February 20, 1905, as amended. The trade-mark has been continually used and applied to said goods in app1icant’s business since February 8, 1934. The trade-mark is applied to the goods or the package containing the same by stamping it di- rectly thereon. Applicant hereby disclaims exclusive use, apart from the marks appearing on the drawing, of the words “Brand Felt” and “American Felt Company.” The undersigned hereby appoints Edward A. Brand, whose postal address is Room 744 Trans- portation Building, Washington, D. C., its attor- ney to prosecute the application for registration, with full powers of substitution and revocation and to make alterations and amendments there- in, to receive the certincate of registration, and to transact all business in the Patent Oftice con- nected therewith.
